Megan Thee Stallion can’t seem to catch a break these days. After all of the drama involving Tory Lanez earlier this year, she has found herself in yet another legal dispute.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Harassment Case Will Proceed
This time a man named Emilio Garcia alleged that he was a victim. Of sexual harassment at the hands of the rap star. The lawsuit was filed in April 2024. And now a judge has granted the plaintiff permission to move forward with the case.
Garcia’s complaint alleged that he was in a vehicle with Megan during a tour in Ibiza, Spain in June 2022. At some point during the ride, the rapper started having sex with another passenger in the car. Garcia said he was essentially forced to watch. Because the car was moving and he was “in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country,” according to the complaint.
Judge Gregory Woods said in court that Garcia’s complaint: “plausibly pleads that the alleged sexual encounter in the SUV in Ibiza created a hostile work environment. Based on the plaintiff’s sexual orientation,” noting that Garcia identifies as a gay man.
But that was not the only instance in which Garcia says he felt like a victim of abuse. Garcia says that Megan Thee Stallion would also body shame him. Insisting that he stop eating and making rude remarks such as calling him a “fat b***h”
After the lawsuit was initially filed in April 2024, Megan and her team hit back at the shocking claims made by her accuser. Calling the accusations made against her “salacious,” and noting that they planned to fight back against the accusations in court.
“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, told Page Six.” “We will deal with this in court.”
Megan nor her team have made a comment regarding the judge’s decision.
