K. Michelle recently delved into the nature of her past connection with R. Kelly—and admitted that things went deeper than music.
While appearing on The Jason Lee Show, the singer revealed she once had real feelings for Kelly while he was helping shape her career.
“If it wasn’t for Robert Kelly, I wouldn’t know the business… I was in love with him,” she admitted.

She also didn’t hold back when it came to the people around him, suggesting others should be held accountable—including fellow singer Sparkle.
K. Michelle claims adults in Kelly’s circle knew more than they’ve let on, even referencing parents being present during questionable moments.
Meanwhile, Sparkle has denied any role in enabling abuse, previously stating she cooperated with authorities and testified in court.
Still, K. Michelle is standing firm—and hinting she’s holding even more tea.
“If I talk, everybody is going to jail,” she said.
