Kanye West made his return to the stage on Wednesday (April 1) for a sold-out show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
And although Ye has vowed to be a changed man going forward, he still showed signs of his old self during his latest performance.
Kanye Gets Heated About Lighting Malfunction
The Yeezy creator became upset with the stage crew over an apparent lighting malfunction as he was performing his and T-Pain’s 2007 smash hit, Good Life.
“Yo, I don’t like when the lights move like that, like a disco and s**t. It doesn’t go with the stage, don’t do that, stop doing that.
The DJ starts to play the song again, but about three seconds later, he orders him to stop again.
“You see that. Don’t do that, that s**t is corny yo.”
He then starts to play the song again, but the lighting is still not to his liking.
“What is this, an SNL skit or some s**t? Stop the music. Is this like an SNL skit or something? Stop doing the vibrating Vegas lights, bro, as we went over this in rehearsal.”

Fans on social media had tons of reactions to the viral moment.
“That other ye was itching to come out,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This is very much a part of his charm and the magic of seeing him live. Never change, Ye,” a second user chimed in.
“I’m sure he’s even worse to deal with without an audience smh,” a third user added.
Ye is set to perform the second night of his SoFi Stadium concert this coming Friday (April 3).
He will also be the headline for this year’s Wireless Festival in July.
