Grammy-award winner Kanye West shared and deleted a new song called Lonely Roads Lead to Sunshine, over the weekend. And to say that it is controversial would be an understatement.

Diddy Featured on New Kanye West Song
One of the featured artists on Kanye’s new song is Bad Boy Records founder, Sean “Diddy” Combs. If you are tardy to the party, Combs is currently being held without bail after being arrested last September for his connection to a sex trafficking ring. In the song, Diddy pays homage to Kanye West for checking in on his kids during his incarceration.
“I just want to thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man. Ain’t nobody reached out to them, ain’t nobody called. Nobody,” Diddy says on the since-deleted songs.
“That meant so much that you reached out to them and took them under your wing while I’m in this m*********a. I appreciate you. Word up, man.”
West then responds “Absolutely. I love you so much, man. You raised me, even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?”
Ye at Odds With Kim Kardashian
Diddy being featured on the song is not the only controversial thing about Kanye’s new track. It has also reignited his beef with his ex-wife and baby momma, Kim Kardashian.
North West is on the song. And her feature led to Kanye realizing that Kim owns the trademark to North’s name. Upon making the revelation Kanye West on a social media rant and accused the Kardashians and Hulu, who have the ownership rights to the Kardashian reality show, of violating his parental rights.
“I DON’T WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS I NEED TO RAISE THEM. I NEED TO HAVE SAY SO OF WHERE THEY GO TO SCHOOL AND WHO THEIR FRIENDS ARE AND WHOS [sic] HOUSES THEY SLEEPOVER,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“ALL THESE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME BY THE KARDASHIAN MOB HULU AND DISNEY AND THE BIGGER AGENDA TO USE THE SELECTIVELY BRED BLACK CHILDREN TO BE PLATFORMS TO INFLUENCE BLACK PEOPLE.”
