The federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is shaping up to be the trial of the century. And amid his high-profile case, the Bad Boy Records founder has found an unlikely ally. That being rap star Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
Kanye West Makes Appearance at Diddy’s Trial
West showed up at the New York City courthouse where Combs’ trial is being held on Friday, June 13. Donning an all-white ensemble. Seemingly in support of the disgraced music mogul.

After Ye showed more support for Diddy, fans sounded off on social media.
“S**t is about to hit the fan. Nobody knows what Kanye might say when he’s questioned,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Ye showing up to Diddy’s sex crimes trial like it’s a red carpet event only he could treat court like a stage,” another person noted.
“If he ends up in cuffs by the end of the day the lord is my shepherd,” another user added.
This is not the first time that Kanye has expressed his support for Diddy amid his federal trial. During an interview with DJ Akademiks earlier this year, Ye said that he sees a lot of himself in the shamed hip-hop legend. Which made it easier to empathize with him.
“I really saw the comparison of me and Puff with the Diageo and the Adidas situation. Regardless of whether they could have locked me up for taxes, they weren’t playing fair. It’s like, ‘You leaving? You leaving with nothing. We have to destroy you.’ Even though they used us to tap into the culture and make money off of Black people and people who enjoy black culture,” he said
“I related to Puff. And then they pulled out a video with him and Cassie from 10 years ago, and then it made everyone be like, ‘Oh, Puff’s a woman beater! He’s the Devil, he needs to be in jail.’ Meanwhile, I don’t know somebody that hasn’t gotten into an altercation with their girl at one point.”
