Kanye West has become one of the more controversial people on social media. Due in large part to his attacks on specific groups. And one group he has been particularly critical of over the past few months is the Jewish community.

Kanye West Meets With Rabbis to Ask Forgiveness

However, Ye is looking to make amends with the community. At least it seems that way. In a new social media post, the Grammy-winner is seen meeting with Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto. Where he repents for his past behaviour.

“I was dealing with various issues […] this is the first step, brick by brick, to building back strong walls,” he says in the video.

However, fans on social media didn’t appear to be convinced that Ye is actually a changed man.

“Bro stands for nothing fr just trynna get ppl back on his side,” one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Once you realize he’s legit bipolar, you’ll never take anything Ye says as serious,” another user added.

“As long as Kanye refuses to treat his condition, these outbursts will happen again,” a third user said.

Lyor Cohen Calls Out Ye’s Antisemitism

Kanye’s coldness toward the Jewish community has known no bounds. From dropping merch that featured swastikas to dropping a track titled Heil Hitler, the rap star has been on a rampage.

While many were able to ignore West, others felt like his actions were too much to ignore.

Famed music mogul Lyor Cohen, who founded 300 Entertainment, was among those who called out the rap star.

“I am deeply disappointed and troubled by your recent actions involving the use of Nazi symbols and antisemitic rhetoric. Your words and actions are not only offensive but triggering to all decent people who recognize the horrors of the Holocaust and the suffering of millions,” Cohen’s letter reads.

“With antisemitism on the rise, your voice and influence carry a significant responsibility. I urge you to be more sensitive to the pain your words inflict on Jewish communities and all those who stand against hate.

It will be interesting to see if Ye has actually changed or if this is just yet another charade.
