Kanye West has reportedly become the artist with the most RIAA Gold and Platinum-certified songs in history, reaching a total of 137 certified records.
The latest round of certifications includes several of Ye’s biggest hits. “Heartless” and “Stronger” have both reached 14-times Platinum status, while “Gold Digger,” featuring Jamie Foxx, is now 13-times Platinum. “Ni**as in Paris” has been certified 12-times Platinum, and “Flashing Lights” has reached nine-times Platinum.
Other major certifications include “All of the Lights,” “Mercy,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” “Runaway,” “Bound 2” and “Good Life.” Several of his landmark albums also received updated certifications, including Graduation, The College Dropout, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, 808s & Heartbreak, Yeezus and Jesus Is King.
The milestone highlights the continued commercial impact of Kanye’s catalog, which spans more than two decades and includes some of the most recognizable albums and songs in modern Hip-Hop.
With 137 certified records, Ye’s latest achievement further strengthens his position as one of the most commercially successful and influential artists of his generation.
