Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” leads the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a third week. Two weeks earlier, the single – whose title is an ode to late R&B icon Luther Vandross, who is sampled on the track – became Lamar’s sixth No. 1 and SZA’s third.

Billboard confirmed the track’s spot on Monday (March 10). The song now ties “Not Like Us” and “Like That” for Kendrick’s longest stay at No. 1.

SZA extends her longest No. 1 Hot 100 stay. She previously led for a week each as featured on Drake’s “Slime You Out” and with her own “Kill Bill,” both in 2023.

SZA and Kendrick are set to hit the road soon on their Grand National Tour, which was announced earlier this year.

The arena tour kicks off on April 19 in Minneapolis, MN and wraps up on June 18 in Landover, MD, with stops in cities such as Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Chicago along the way.

Other cities among the roadshow include Kendrick’s native Los Angeles and SZA’s birthplace of St. Louis, as well as the hometown of Kendrick’s fierce rival Drake, Toronto.

Kendrick’s industry run as of late has been nothing short of dominant. He took over the 67th Grammy Awards, amassing five trophies, including two in the coveted “Big Four” categories.

The following week, he and SZA took center stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, delivering an electrifying performance.

Drake Could Perform At 2026 World Cup To Rival Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Kendrick went on to spend a cumulative 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 but has been in a battle of supremacy with Drake ever since. For Drizzy, the last few months have been less than ideal. Though, he may have something in the works to put himself back on top of the charts for quite some time.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino says that Drake could be selected as the performer at the 2026 World Cup, in hopes of creating a “rivalry,” with the NFL.

“That’s a good idea,” he said during a recent interview. “Actually, Drake was with us when we announced the host cities. I should have his number saved somewhere.”

Drizzy’s hometown of Toronto, Canada will play host to the World Cup for the first time in June of 2026.
