Kendrick’s Tour Hits A Major Milestone
When the Grand National tour hit AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, on April 26, Kendrick made even more history. He now holds the honor of having the highest-grossing concert by a Black male as a headlining or co-headlining artist in history. The show raked in a whopping $11.822 million perTour Data.
That record was previously held by R&B star The Weeknd, who grossed $9.8 million at his 2022 concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Kendrick also made history earlier this week. He and SZA’s hit song “Luther” has now spent 11 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 100. According to a new report from HipHopDX, this ties Diddy and Faith Evans’ 1996 hit “I’ll Be Missing You,” which paid tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G. following his untimely passing.

This is now back-to-back summers that K. Dot is a hot topic. Last summer, he was involved in a heated rap feud with Drake.
Kendrick ignited the feud when he called out J. Cole and Drizzy on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” But he took his first solo shot at Drake on the track, Euphoria. The song made several explosive accusations about Drake. However, despite several hard-hitting lyrics, the Compton-born artist may have been holding back. According to his label mate TDE Punch, there was “damaging” information in the raw version that was withheld.
“I don’t know the length, but there was definitely a version that was longer than what the world got. There was a lot of stuff that didn’t make it on there,” Punch said during a recent interview with Curtis King TV.
He added, “There were just some things in there that I didn’t think would have been beneficial in the long run to put in there. So I gave him my input on that, and he took some of those things out.”
