Key Glock is one of the top hitmakers in hip-hop. Hits like She Ready, Let’s Go, and Addicted to Cash, have catapulted him to rap superstardom. And while you can make the argument that he is just now hitting his prime, the Memphis native is already eyeing his next business venture.
Key Glock Reveals Plans to Start His Own Label
In a recent sit-down with Esquire, the rap star revealed that he is eyeing CEO status. By starting his own music label. He has already inked the first artist to his roster. And they already have a budding relationship. Similar to the one that Key Glock had with his late cousin, Young Dolph
“I just signed my first artist, Zo Trapalot. He’s from Memphis, too,” Glock said. “He reminded me of me. He listens. We’ve got a budding relationship outside of music, so I’m just taking him under my wing, just like Dolph did with me. He’s like the little brother I never had.”
But a music label is not the only venture that Glock is dipping his toe into. He, along with Megan Thee Stallion, was named the new brand ambassadors for popular fashion brand, True Religion. A collaboration that Key says is long overdue.
“Been waiting long enough, for sure. But I was highly excited. I really appreciate it,” he said.
But even with everything moving at warp speed, Glock has managed to keep making music as his number one priority. He has an upcoming project, titled Project X, which is scheduled to drop on June 19.
