Kid Cudi is not playing with trolls. The Cleveland rapper responded to an X account that criticized Cudi for being “washed beyond repair.”
How Did Cudi Clap Back To The Account?
The exchange began when the account posted about their thoughts on Cudi’s new music.
“I respect how Kid Cudi is now washed beyond repair but still shows up and puts out music,” the user said. “I’ll never listen to his latest garbage but i respect it.”
Apparently the tweet somehow found Cudi, despite not being tagged, and he didn’t take too kindly to the criticism in a now deleted response.
““Hahaha man F*** U DUDE IM THE ILLEST N****!!!” Cudi posted. “NO ONE in this industry can do what I do. Ugly hatin m******* like u been on my d*** for YEARS and I’m still here! U gotta learn bro, I ain’t NEVER give a f*** about what a troll like u has to say. U n***** ain’t stoppin nothing. I’m so wash but u just GOTTA tweet about me. Now, bum a**, watch me shine… TOUR NEXT WEEK GET TIX!!”
Cudi must have realized quickly his clap back + promo wasn’t worth the hassle and deleted the post and blocked the troll.
The troll seemed to get a kick out of the exchange, posting the response and notification of the block.
When pressed about why they were saying Cudi is washed despite not listening to the music, the troll had a simple response.
“Cause I just be capping on Twitter,” they posted.

What Has Kid Cudi Been Up To?
The Ohio rapper has been busy in the film industry, screening his new film Doe around, reportedly getting the approval of Hollywood A-Lister Robert Pattinson.
He previously posted about the film on his Instagram.
“My directorial debut DOE is coming and I couldn’t be more hyped,” Cudi posted. “We just wrapped and I feel so blessed to have worked with such a talented group of people that will be in my life forever. DOE is a story that hits close to home. A powerful story of redemption and faith. Stay tuned y’all, this one is very special.”
Deadline reports that the film stars Cudi alongside several notable actors. Mark Webber (Flesh and Blood), Leah McNamara (Normal People), Brandon Scott (Dead to Me), and Brandon Perea (Nope) will also star.
The film reportedly explores themes of addiction and survival through the lens of a man living on the streets of Hollywood who, in one day, drifts through a series of encounters that pull him in and out of the cycles of his compulsion.
The rapper is also gearing up for a new tour that will span decades of his career, with tickets going on sale next week.
