Ye, formerly known as rap star Kanye West, has had his share of celebrity relationships. From Amber Rose to Julia Fox. But his most famous relationship was with reality star and business mogul, Kim Kardashian.
Despite no longer being romantically involved, they are still connected by way of their three children — North, Saint, and Chicago.
Kim Kardashian Details Experience Co-Parenting With Kanye
During a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kim went into detail about the struggles of co-parenting with Ye. Noting that she wants Kanye to have a great relationship with her three children, but also has to set a boundary when it comes to knowing when to “protect” them from him.
“It’s not easy. I mean, I raise the kids full-time. They live with me,” she stated. “I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that. I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it’s time for that, and it goes in waves and phases. “I have the best memories and the best relationship with my dad. So I just welcome healthy relationships, but it is not easy.”
Kanye is known to have episodes. As displayed by his social media activity over the last several months. And at times, the episodes that he goes through can make him distant from Kim and his children. Kardashian even revealed on the podcast that it has been “a couple of months” since they heard from him.
Kim and Kanye were married for eight years before they ultimately got divorced in 2022. Kim noted that she was able to endure a lot of the Grammy-winner’s antics during their marriage. But in the end, it was too much for her to endure, and they decided to go their separate ways.
