Late Chicago rapper King Von has been digitally resurrected in a surprising new music video from Chinese artist FOUR4444, sparking conversation across social media about AI, drill culture, and artistic boundaries.
On Nov. 4, FOUR4444—an emerging rapper from Chengdu, China—released the visuals for her track “童趣猫耳手表,” which Google translates to “Fun Cat Ear Watch.” Though the petite young rapper appears soft-spoken in appearance, she delivers aggressive, drill-style bars in a deep vocal tone over hard-hitting production.
“Rocking a playful cat ear watch / My flows ’bout to merk you / Talkin’ sht behind my back / Lil dumb ases better not let me catch you,” she spits in the track, blending cute aesthetics with menacing drill energy.
The most shocking moment arrives when an AI-generated version of King Von shows up in the video. The digital likeness of the late O-Block MC is depicted with his arm around FOUR4444 and pointing a gun toward the camera—an imagery choice that has already stirred debate online about the ethics of recreating deceased artists through artificial intelligence.
