LeBron James has finally ended his free agency. He has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to ESPN NBA Insider Shams Charania.

LeBron Headed to The Sixers on a Two-Year Deal
James will sign with the franchise on a two-year/ $8 million deal. He will now join an already stacked roster in the City of Brotherly Love, which features a plethora of All-Star-level talent. Including Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid. In addition to a rising star in second-year player VJ Edgecombe.
With LeBron ready to rock and roll in Philly for the next two seasons, fans had plenty of things to say on social media.
“Wait… LeBron in a Sixers jersey wasn’t on my 2026 bingo card,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This has to be the most unexpected location. Nobody could have guessed this,” a second user chimed in.
“$8 million for LeBron? That’s either the greatest bargain in NBA history or someone forgot two zeros,” a third user remarked.
And now that LeBron has decided where he plays basketball next season, the age-old question has resurfaced. How much longer does he have left in his Hall of Fame NBA career? LeBron is set to play his 24th season in 2027. He will be the first in history to do so.
With his eyes still locked on championship gold, LeBron is in peak position to compete for a ring this season. But there are a lot of other talented teams in the Eastern Conference. It will be interesting to see if he gets it done.
