Drake did not spare any feelings on his ninth studio album, Iceman. One person who caught a stray on his latest project was Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
Rich Paul Believes Drake & LeBron Could Reconcile in The Future
Despite the beef between James and the Grammy-winner stewing over the last two years, one person doesn’t think that it’s too late for Drizzy and Bron to reconcile. That being LeBron’s longtime agent and business partner, Rich Paul. During a recent episode of his Game Over podcast, Paul tells his co-host, Max Kellerman, that he believes that the Grammy-winner and Lakers star could mend fences in the future.
“At the end of the day, I think it’s important that adults really reconcile down the road. And stay out of that stuff…. I don’t get involved in that, but for me it’s just about allowing time to pass. Hopefully, they can reconcile their differences,” he said as caught by NBA Courtside on X. “I do think in any situation it’s important to remove the middle man. I think over time you need the two people to have a conversation if they’re able to get there.”

On a new track titled 1 am in Albany, Drake appears to take issue with LeBron’s attendance. At Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 Pop Out Concert at the LA Forum.
“I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena. Because you always made your career off of switching teams up,” Drake raps on the track.
On the new track, Drake seems to confirm publicly for the first time that he has cut ties with the Los Angeles Lakers star.
“Please stop asking what’s going on with 23 & me, I’m a real n****, and he’s not, it’s in my DNA,” he adds.
At the time of writing, James has not directly responded to the comments made by Drake on the album.
