Rap star Lil Baby recently announced his new series Wham Wednesdays. The Drip Harder artist said that he intends to drop new music every Wednesday for the remainder of 2025. In the second installment of the series on November 12, he debuted a new song titled Otha Boy.
Gunna Appears to Target Lil Baby on New Song ‘Otha Boy’
Lil Baby’s new project features some interesting lyrics. In one segment of the song, he appears to target his former industry cohort, Gunna.
“Make a rapper take his clothes off, that boy a male stripper / Try to speak on me to throw it off, these n****s still snitchin’ / This lil’ button on the back will show a n***a how to switch up / Push up on ’em at the gym, I hope ’em n****s doin’ they push-ups / For a fact, you n****s hoes, the city knows this ain’t no diss song,” he raps.

The lyrics should be taken with a grain of salt because he doesn’t name-drop Gunna. However, it is ironic, given that Gunna has lost a significant amount of weight since being released from prison in 2023. He is also no stranger to posting his fitness journey on social media.
At one point, Lil Baby and Gunna were one of the hottest duos in the rap game. Collaborations such as Sold Out Dates, Drip Too Hard, and Heatin’ Up catapulted them to rap superstardom.
However, everything changed between the two rappers after Gunna was swept up in the YSL RICO indictment.
During an interview with radio personality Charlemagne Tha God last December, the Baby confirmed that he currently has “no relationship” with Gunna.
And many have speculated that this could be due in part to the fact that Gunna entered an Alford Plea in the YSL trial to secure his freedom. And Baby has a close relationship with Young Thug, who has accused Gunna of snitching in the trial.
To this point, Gunna has not responded.
