At one time, Lil Baby and Gunna were one of the most prolific duos coming out of Atlanta. Their collab tape, Drip Harder, was a major success and they’d regularly perform together, even as they both began to breakout to star status.

But, Gunna’s alleged snitching when it came to the Young Thug YSL Rico case disrupted their relationship. For the most part, Baby has allowed his actions to speak for themselves. He’s not been outspoken about Gunna, moreso, just not collaborating with him. The last one coming in 2022 with “25K Jacket.”
People have said Baby has snuck dissed Gunna in a few songs since, but Baby insists he’s not taking shots. While speaking on the NY Times popcast, he explained that nothing good would come out of a feud with Gunna.
“Whether I like them or they like me, it’s like we all gonna be on that personal vibe,” Baby said. “We can not like each other but we gonna play it cool for y’all, you know what I’m saying? It’s like an unspoken thing. It’s like a new thing now I see like, people be going at each other and stuff, like, we ain’t really on that. We got a problem? We can handle our problem off the internet, in person, just us.”
Baby drops his new album Fresh next week on November 6th. He’s riding the viral success of chart topping single “Dead Fresh.” He did a remix with none other than millionaire youtuber, Mr. Beast.
