Lil Baby is giving back to the community. He went back to Atlanta with his foundation, the Jones Projects to get over 4,000 kids ready and prepared for the school year.

What Did Lil Baby Do?

Over the weekend, Lil Baby and his foundation went to the West End of Atlanta to help the youth with getting ready for school. Held at West End Production Park, the event served over 4,000 students giving them free food, gift cards, giveaways, games, school supplies, clothes, school uniforms and free haircuts so they’re fresh, fly, and prepared for the upcoming school season.

This isn’t Baby’s first rodeo, as he’s been a pillar in the community since 2020. Shortly after releasing the seminal “The Bigger Picture” Baby became more and more involved with on the ground initiatives. This led to him forming the Jones Project 2025, which furthered his community involvement.

Prior to this, Baby donated the earnings of “The Bigger Picture” to several charities. He’s helped with everything from restoring basketball courts in local parks to toy drives and setting up six figure scholarships at his former high school.

Reports say Baby stayed the whole, taking pictures with the kids and engaging with the community.

How’s His New Song Doing?

Good karma continues to swirl around Baby as his new Pharrell-produced single “Dead Fresh” is one of the most popular Hip Hop songs in America. The track catapulted to No. 1 song on Apple Music. Next week it’ll be determined where it sits on Billboard.

The music video sees Lil Baby on a golf course in a red Lambo racing around while flaunting diamonds and hitting golf balls. He also hangs out at fashion show and an orange room that’s giving Backrooms.

The music video is directed by Kid Art, who’s known for his work with Kodak Black, Juelz Santana, Wyclef Jean, and more. Interestingly enough, the song is produced by Pharrell Williams, his first collaboration with the Neptunes veteran.

Pharrell previewed the song during the Louie Vuitton fashion show, along with another track he produced for Quavo.
