Lil Jon is facing a frightening situation as his son, DJ Young Slade, has been reported missing in Georgia.
According to the Milton Police Department, a missing persons alert was issued Tuesday for 28-year-old Slade, whose legal name is Nathan Murray Smith. Authorities say he ran out of his home on foot and has not been seen since. Police noted that he does not have a phone, may be disoriented, and could be in need of assistance.
Local outlet Rough Draft Atlanta reported that an “active police matter” was unfolding in Mayfield Park, located in Milton, roughly 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta.
Authorities emphasized that there is no threat to the public and are urging anyone with information to come forward to help locate Smith and confirm his whereabouts as the search continues.
