The ongoing beef between T.I. and 50 Cent has taken the rap industry by storm. And the latest person to weigh in on Atlanta rap artist Lil Scrappy.
Lil Scrappy Weighs in On 50 Cent & T.I.’s Beef
In a recent social media post, Lil Scrappy starts off by noting how big a part 50 Cent played in elevating his music career. When he signed him to his G-Unit label.
“When it comes to T.I. and 50, look, 50 changed my life. You know what I’m saying? 50 signed me to G-Unit and changed my whole life, and I’ll never forget that,” he said (via TrapsNTrunks/X). “I’ll never forget him doing that, I’ll never forget what he taught me. I’ll never forget those days, you know what I’m saying. So I got nothing but love for Fif. I’ll ride for homie because he poured a lot in my cup when my cup was empty.”
As for his thoughts on T.I., he paid homage to the ATL star for being an Atlanta legend.
“When it comes to T.I., he’s an Atlanta veteran. He’s an Atlanta great. Southern great. I feel like he got one of the best flows in the whole game.”
However, when it comes to Tip and Fif’s beef, Scrappy says he is staying neutral.
“I just don’t get into stuff like that. Got love for both of them, brothers, man. I feel like both of the boys are doing great things. And just let them work that out, man, I don’t have anything to do with it,” he said of their ongoing feud.
Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy just weighed in on the back-and-forth between 50 Cent and T.I. and made it clear he’s not picking sides. Scrappy said 50 changed his life when he signed him to G-Unit and he’ll never forget that, but he also showed love to Tip and called him one of the… pic.twitter.com/R2CvXZrN5e

Scrappy then concluded by saying that he did feel that there should have been a Verzuz battle between the two rappers. And felt that it would have been “lit as hell.”
At the time of writing, neither T.I. nor 50 has responded to the comments made by Scrappy.
