19 year old rapper Lil Skies has signed a worldwide deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The Pennsylvania rapper signed his Atlantic Records deal last Summer and has scored himself two Hot 100 hits, “Nowadays” & “Red Roses,” as well as a top 10 album on the Billboard charts.
In a statement here is what Sony/ATV VP Creativie Ian Holder had to say about the signing.
“Skies is special. As much as we love what he’s doing right now, I believe he’s only scratching the surface. I think when we are able to look at his body of work years from now, we’ll find an artist who continues to evolve.”
“Signing with Sony/ATV was life changing for me. We are about to make history,” said Skies.
