With a net worth of $25 million, rap star Lil Uzi has a lot of money to spend on drip. But they admit that even with their fortune, things can sometimes get out of hand.

Uzi Says He Spent ‘Millions’ on Balenciaga

During a recent interview, the rap star revealed that they once spent millions on the luxury fashion brand, Balenciaga. In an attempt to keep pace with Ye, formerly known as rap star Kanye West.

However, despite his six-figure Balenciaga budget, Uzi is still convinced that he was thoroughly outspent by the Yeezy founder.

“I’m pretty sure he could afford it 10x more than me,” the Eternal Atake creator concluded.

Of course, Uzi’s comments led to a bevy of reactions from fans on social media.

“N***a tried to go band for band with a billionaire,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“You can’t be like Ye ever!” a second user exclaimed.

“Kanye couldn’t keep up with Uzi,” a third user chimed in.

A successful music career has led to an extravagant lifestyle for Uzi. But that could be in jeopardy due to a 2025 legal filing.

According to a November 2025 report from AllHipHop, Uzi is being sued for their 2022 smash hit I Just Wanna Rock. In a lawsuit filed in Rochester federal court, New York-based artist Sharrief K. Bouchet, known professionally as Rawyal or Rief Rawya, alleges that Uzi plagiarized his song Pain and Pleasure.

The lawsuit also says that Uzi had “direct access” to the song through Lanre Gaba, who has been the President of Hip-Hop, R&B, and Global Music at Uzi’s label, Atlantic Records, since 2012.

I Just Wanna Rock remains one of the most successful songs in Lil Uzi’s catalog. The hit achieved 4x Platinum status in the U.S. with over 5 million certified units sold as of August 2024. The hit record also earned 3x Platinum in Canada and charted in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number
