It had been more than a year since Lil Uzi Vert had dropped new music. Following the release of Eternal Etake 2 in November 2024. But the rap star had returned in a major way, dropping off two new tracks in the last 24 hours.
Lil Uzi Targets Nine Vicious on New Track
In Uzi’s quest to flood the streets with new music, he has reignited his beef with rap artist Nine Vicious. Who had some choice words about Vert earlier this year.
“I know when it’s hate, I’m one with the Earth, I know all the elements / He thought he ate, my gun not a 9, it’s not not a lil’ elephant / I took off the hood just so it could breathe, my car is a hellaphant / How you say I’m irrelevant when I’m the reason these n****s is relevant?” he raps on the track.

Earlier this year, Nine Vicious made claims that Lil Uzi had “fallen off” from music. After catching wind of the rapper’s comments, Uzi took to social media to call out Nine Vicous.
“Y’all talking ‘bout ‘I fell off too.’ Y’all lil ass boys, stop playing with me,” Uzi said in a. “Stop f***ing playing with me, n***a.”
The song aimed at Nine Vicous comes on the heels of his recent release, Chanel. Both tracks are his first releases following his signing of a new distribution deal with Roc Nation.
Following the new deal, ROC Nation Distribution President Krystian said one of the main purposes of the deal is for Uzi to continue building his legacy with “full creative control.”
“UZI is a global icon and a dynamic force in the music industry, so we’re thrilled to work together with them in this new capacity,” Santini said in a statement via Complex. “Our partnership is centered around empowering UZI to continue building their legacy, with full creative control and the resources to take their artistry to new heights.”
