Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty are celebrating a major victory away from the music world after their racehorse, Listenupshance, captured the $400,000 Grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes at Del Mar.
The win marked the first Grade 1 victory of Listenupshance’s career and secured the horse a fees-paid spot in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint, scheduled to take place later this year at Keeneland.
Listenupshance is owned by Run Fast Racing, a celebrity-backed ownership group that also includes Latin music star Rauw Alejandro and entrepreneur Adam Kluger.
The victory represents a major milestone for the ownership group as Listenupshance prepares to compete on one of horse racing’s biggest stages.
