Rap star Lil Wayne is an avid Green Bay Packers fan. So it should come as no surprise when their archnemesis, the Chicago Bears, eliminated them from the playoffs last Saturday (January 10).
Lil Wayne & Caleb Williams Settle Their Beef
In the aftermath of the game, Weezy traded shots with Bears starting quarterback Caleb Williams on social media. However, Weezy made amends with the Bears star in a social media post on Wednesday (January 14).
“Ay Caleb, don’t mind me bruh I’m just a cheesehead 4life & u just a killa & ya kilt us bad each time & 4 dat u get da praise gesture from me!” Weezy wrote on social media on Wednesday (January 14). “I luh da game & it’d b impossible 2make dat statement without acknowledging & admiring yo game king! You’re a beast, but ya still a bear.”
Williams also responded to Lil Wayne, suggesting that it was “all love.”

Chicago’s win was in large part due to the dynamic play of their starting quarterback, Caleb Williams, who was the top pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Williams racked up 361 yards and two touchdowns in the win, which was much to the chagrin of the rap star. Following the loss, Weezy made things personal with the star QB, blasting him for wearing nail polish.
“We just lost a playoff game to a nigga with purple nails, we fkn suk bear azz! Bare ass!!! We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Straight like that,” the rap star wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the game.
It did not take Williams long to catch wind of the comments made by the Louisiana native. And he promptly clapped back at Weezy on social media. Using the Superman and snowflake emojis.
Now, it appears the Bears have officially put the Packers behind them and are looking forward to their divisional round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
