Wayne and Williams had a feud that many did not see coming to kick off 2026. But it did. After the Bears’ playoff win over the Green Bay Packers, Weezy had a lot to say about the Bears’ quarterback. Wayne aimed at Williams’ fashion choices. Noting that the loss was extra embarrassing because the Bears’ star wears nail polish.
“We just lost a playoff game to a nigga with purple nails, we fkn suk bear azz! Bare ass!!! We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Straight like that,” the rap star wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the game.
Williams appeared to brush off the comments based on his response on social media. However, even after his apology, fans did not appear to be in a forgiving mood.
“Stay on that side with your 5 remaining Locs, chief, you were over extra,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Lol, dude rolling back his words now, I love it. Give in to him, Weezy,” a second user added.
“You should be thrown in jail for insulting the greatest QB of all time, Caleb Williams!!!!” a third user chimed in.
The Bears will continue their playoff push in a matchup with the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round.
