Rapper Lil Woody is grieving the devastating loss of his 2-month-old son, whom he laid to rest during an emotional funeral ceremony held Monday (Dec. 1).
Woody shared sorrowful moments from the funeral on social media, including videos of the small casket and scenes of loved ones gathered around the gravesite. The child was transported in a white horse-drawn carriage, adding a solemn, powerful touch to the heartbreaking farewell.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t save you,” Woody wrote alongside a photo of his son. “Imma miss you.”
While the cause of death has not been disclosed, Woody opened up about how deeply the brief time with his son impacted him.
“You came into this world with your hands balled into a fist, which symbolize strength,” he wrote. “You made me a better person… My heart will never heal from this, I won’t be weak because of you.”
