On Monday (April 7), Phonte and Big Pooh announced, ‘Curtain Call: The Final Tour’, where they will bid farewell to fans.

The pair will embark on a 12-date trek starting May 24 in Baltimore. From there, Little Brother will hit Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and Washington, D.C., before wrapping things up in their native North Carolina on Oct. 24.

After the tour, Little Brother will play their final show aboard the Rock the Bells Cruise alongside The Lox, GZA, Lupe Fiasco, MC Lyte, and more.

Big Pooh and Phonte Come Together One More Time as Little Brother

Little Brother previously went on a long hiatus in 2010 after issues arose between Phonte and Big Pooh. But the duo recently set the record straight about where they stand while talking to AllHipHop.

“I wanted to let people know, me and Phonte, we super good,” Pooh said. “We had a chance to reconcile, come back and, I believe, put Little Brother to bed the proper way. We was able to do it the right way and I believe that’s one of the things we both thought was important — not that when we knew when that day would be, but it was still important to have that moment and allow our fans to have that moment, too.”

Phonte added: “Pooh said it beautifully. We came back after a decade and got our first No. 1 record, we did our own movie, we did our own block party and regained control of our catalog. Our work is complete. Our mission as Little Brother is complete.”

In 2019 Little Brother reunited for their studio album, May The Lord Watch. On social media, Pooh essentially confirmed that the next 12 shows will be it for the legendary NC duo.

“Because we completed the mission,” he wrote on X when questioned about the group’s decision to hang things up.

When asked if Little Brother would drop a final album, Big Pooh replied: “No album. Just the tour.”
