Logic is now a best-selling author. Logic’s debut novel, Supermarket, premiered at No. 1 on the New York Times‘ Paperback Fiction Best-Seller list, making him the first-ever rapper to author a fiction best-seller.
Logic jumped on his Instagram page to thank his fans for making his book a New York Times best-seller. “Humbled. Thank YOU all,” he wrote.
According to a press release, the book has been No. 1 at Amazon and Barnes & Noble since its release on March 26. In addition, the novel’s accompanying soundtrack of the same name debuted at No. 6 this week on the Billboard Alternative Album chart, another first for Logic.
The book has been described as a fresh, funny, and deliciously dark thriller that features Logic’s flair for cinematic storytelling. According to the creative wordsmith, the first half of the novel was written during his “lowest most depressed, anxiety-filled part of my life” and the second half was “written as I overcame it.”
Congratulations to Logic on his Supermarket book being a New York Times best-seller.
