Atlanta rapper Ludacris is headed into the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame’s latest class of inductees, cementing another milestone in his decades-spanning career.
The Grammy-winning artist will be honored alongside acts like Ms. Lauryn Hill, Usher, and Jermaine Dupri at a June 1 ceremony near Mercedes-Benz Stadium, recognizing his lasting impact on hip-hop culture and global music.
Organizers praised Ludacris for helping shape “the sound and spirit of a generation,” while continuing to influence artists worldwide. Earlier this year, he also picked up the Landmark Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where he reminded fans he’s still in album mode, teasing new music on the way.
“I’m coming back with new music,” he told the crowd.
