Drake is set to drop his ninth studio album, Iceman, on Friday (May 15). And the rumor mill is already starting to churn.
During the Monday (May 11) episode of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne sent a warning to mega stars ASAP Rocky and DJ Khaled. And insinuated that Drake could send some shots their way on the forthcoming project.
“Khaled, you need to be on edge too, you and A$AP Rocky, y’all getting direct shiots on the project,” he said in a clip caught by Kurrco on X. “Khaled, you might’ve wanted to keep some of that weight on.”
Mal Shuts Down Claim That Drake Will Diss Khaled on Iceman
However, during a recent episode of the Rory & Mal podcast, Mal hit back against Charlamagne’s claim that Khaled would be one of Drizzy’s targets on the forthcoming project. While Mal believes that Khaled may receive a mention, he doesn’t believe that Drake will be on the album “tearing Khaled apart.”
“Drake might just mention that whole moment, just Khaled trying to use that moment to capitalize…Drake knows that a lot of these guys need him…I don’t think he’s on there, tearing Khalid apart,” Mal said in a clip caught by CoolMike00 on X.

Mal also had a lot to say about Rick Ross, who inserted himself into the feud between Drake and Kendrick. However, Ross recently appeared on Apple Music’s Rap Life Review. And one of the topics that came up was his relationship with Drake. And surprisingly, Ross extended an olive branch to the Grammy winner.
After trying to make amends, Mal called out Rick Ross for being “weird.”
“Can we finally admit that Rick Ross is weird? We didn’t put enough light on how weird it is that Rick Ross entered into that rap beef,” Mal said. “He came up with an excuse that it was because Drake didn’t clear his verse for French Montana’s album, and then French Montana comes back to say he was fine with it…. So, WTF are you doing, Rick Ross, you’re finding any way to get in this beef, and now you’re saying I wanna see Drake win… SHUT UP!!
