Hip-hop producer Mally Mall is back in federal custody after prosecutors accused him of violating the terms of his supervised release.
According to newly filed court documents, the Las Vegas-based producer allegedly attempted to influence a witness ahead of a scheduled July 7 revocation hearing and maintained contact with a woman he was explicitly ordered not to communicate with. Authorities also claim he violated home-detention rules and failed to follow other supervision conditions.
Mally Mall served time in prison after pleading guilty in a federal case tied to a prostitution operation that prosecutors said exploited hundreds of women. He was released under supervision in 2023 and was set to complete that term later this year.
A federal probation officer has asked the court to revoke his release, arguing that existing conditions are no longer sufficient. Rashid is currently being held in custody as the case moves forward.
