A 63-year-old man was arrested after police say he crashed his vehicle through the front gate of Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s East Hampton property.
According to authorities, the man allegedly drove at a high rate of speed up the driveway before striking the home’s mechanical gate and causing significant damage.
Police said the man appeared confused during the incident. He had reportedly stopped at another nearby residence beforehand while searching for a woman who did not live there.
The man was taken to a hospital after complaining of pain. He was later charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor criminal trespass.
Neither Beyoncé nor JAY-Z has publicly commented on the incident.
