Mariah The Scientist Leaks The Release Date of Young Thug’s New Album, Uy Scuti

Young Thug was released from prison in October 2024. And ever since, fans have been anxiously anticipating new music from the Young Stoner Life (YSL) head honcho.

Over the past several weeks, Thug has been teasing a new album “UY Scuti.” And although fans have not yet deciphered the meaning of the term, that has not slowed down the anticipation.

Young Thug Set to Release New Album in May

Young Thug’s longtime girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, appeared to leak the album’s release date. In the comments section of one of his recent posts.

“I can’t wait until May 9, please change the release date Mr. Uy Scuti,” she wrote in the comments section.

If this holds true, the album would be released on the third anniversary of Thug and several other YSL affiliates being picked up by the police.

One thing fans will be interested to see is if YSL artist, Gunna will be featured on the new album. Many have speculated that there is friction between the two artists after Gunna entered an Alford please after being named an affiliate in the YSL RICO trial.

Thug addressed the state of his and Gunna’s relationship during an interview with GQ.

“I know everybody wonders [what our relationship is like now],” he said. “I don’t know.”

However, on a new song titled Money on Money which dropped on Friday, April 25. On the new track, Gunna appears to be the subject of Young Thug’s attack when he speaks about friends who switched sides on him.

“These f**k n****s tellin’ for nothin’, and I gotta be the one callin’ ’em friends,” he raps on the song’s hook.

He later raps: Brother, you a rat (My brother).”

As well as: “Twin, you a rat, you smoked, uh.”

However, despite their reported issues, Gunna remains an artist on the Young Stone Life label.
