Many artists have looked towards Las Vegas-based residency concerts as a platform to perform classic hits. Usher, Young Jeezy, and Janet Jackson are just a few of the artists to have residencies over the last few years. And now R&B legend, Mary J. Blige, will be the latest person to join that list.
Mary J. Blige Announces Las Vegas Residency
The No More Drama creator recently announced her Sin City residency, titled Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story. The concert series will kick off in May 2026 and will feature 10 dates between May and July of this year at Dolby Live inside Park MGM.
Ahead of her concert series, Mary J expressed her excitement about the upcoming residency.
“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” she said in a statement (via Rolling Stone). “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do.”
Usually, concerts are performed throughout a bevy of cities across the country. But Mary says that one reason she is particularly excited about the residency is that it will bring all of her fans from near and far, all under one roof. She also promised that there would be “some surprises” for the fans who do attend.
“It’s a chance to get my fans together from all over — different cities, states, and countries — to experience something together,” Blige added. “My Life, My Story will be just that — with some surprises for my fans that have been there through it all.”
