On May 12, the trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will officially begin. Combs is being hit with a federal racketeering charge that alleges that his famed Hollywood parties were a front for sex trafficking.

Mase Lets Fans Decide If He Should Attend Diddy Trial
With just days remaining before the trial begins one of Diddy’s former cohorts’ Mase asked his fans for some advice. During a recent episode of his sports talk show, It Is What It Is Mase said that he is letting them decide whether or not he will attend Diddy’s trial.
“I wanna put it out to the fans. I’ll let the fans vote on it unless you want to. They’re asking me to come to the Diddy trial, You think I should go this week?” he asked his co-hosts, Cam’ron and Treasure Wilson.
Cam then sarcastically replied: “It’s up to you, I don’t know your relationship.”
Mase, although joking did seem well-intentioned as he added that he would try to go for “at least a day.”
Cam also showed support for his co-host adding that if Mase went then he would also attend the trial with him.
Mase Gets Honest About Relationship With Combs
There doesn’t appear to be any blood between Mase and Diddy. During an earlier episode of It Is What It Is, Mase also was asked if he would ever consider repairing his relationship with Combs. And the the shock of many the Harlem native seemed open to the idea of reconnecting with the music mogul.
“I mean, if my name was on the list, I’d go visit Puff,” he said. “I would visit him, make sure he was good. These are the times when you need people to check up and make sure you’re good.
However, the former rap star made it clear that just because he is open to a conversation with Diddy, he still does not condone his actions. He also noted that many people have already thrown dirt on Combs’ name. So he did not want to add unnecessary fuel to the fire. Because of the help he extended to him during his music career.
“Not that I condone anything that he allegedly did. Until they prove it, you want to make sure that you don’t be like one of those people that [condemns] somebody [who] did good for you. He didn’t do all bad, he did some good. He definitely did some good,” Mase added.
