Hip-hop icon Master P teamed up with New Orleans nonprofit Make Good Nola to transform wheelchairs into colorful, fun, and kid-friendly mobility devices. In a hands-on collaboration, Master P helped design and deliver Toddler Mobility Trainers, custom chairs for children with disabilities that combine functionality with playful style.
Sharing the experience on Instagram, Master P expressed his excitement: “This actually made me say, ‘uhhh!’ I’m telling y’all! That’s what this did. I’m ready to give this to a kid.” He celebrated the partnership, calling it a “blessing to be a blessing,” and thanked local organizations like Team Hope NOLA for helping him support the community.
Heartwarming clips show children testing out their new chairs, while Master P works enthusiastically alongside volunteers. “Tight whip right here!” he said, rotating one of the chairs. “Some kids are going to be real happy because this was made with love.”
Make Good Nola, a 501(c)(3) focused on custom assistive technology and open-source design, highlighted the project as part of a movement to make adaptive equipment not just functional, but joyful and identity-affirming. The nonprofit also announced that this is the start of a series where celebrities and VIPs will help assemble chairs to raise awareness and celebrate their community.
This collaboration proves that giving back can be creative, fun, and deeply meaningful — and Master P clearly brought both heart and hustle to the project.
