Meek Mill has taken issue with the recent comments that radio host Charlamagne Tha God made about his past issues with Drake.
During a recent episode of his Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne suggested that Meek Mill “never recovered” from his beef with Drake.
Meek Mill Goes Scorched Earth on Charlamagne
Meek posted a clip of the Breakfast Club hosts’ clip with a lengthy caption. And he didn’t hold back.
“So I wanna make this a ‘main post’ to highlight the real ‘propaganda that’s taking place in the hip hop community,” Meek wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday (April 1). “I need everyone to leave a comment if you see what’s happening and how they are trying to downgrade artist brands from feeding their family. Let’s go through it.”
Later in the clip, Charlamagne also suggested that Meek’s downfall was odd. And that he could have just “kept making music” to move on from the feud. Meek responded to that by listing all of the plaques he has earned since he and Drizzy squashed their feud.
He also says that Charlamagne was one of the people pushing the “Drake” propaganda during their feud. And now he is one of the people who has turned against him.
“He actually switched up on Drake because he helped power the Meek was done narrative,” he continues. “Now he’s using the same against Drake…. I’m good with Drake and Jay-Z as far as I know … keep me out this weak a** s**t.”
Meek also responded to Charlamagne’s claims that if he had stopped tweeting, he could have recovered. Noting that he has used the power of social media to get new deals. And adds that people need to keep a “close eye” on Charlamagne.
“We gotta keep a close eye on this cat, I feel like he’s in the closet gay man that hates successful black men unless he’s doing biz with them, but they promoted him gay??” he wrote.
At the time of writing, Charlamagne has not responded to Meek Mill.
