Meek Mill Teams Up With PUMA To Make A Shoe For Criminal Justice Reform

PUMA continuing its partnership with Meek Mill has created the Clyde Court #Reform. More than just a sneaker with a powerful message, the pair is connected to the recently established Reform Alliance organization. With a mission statement of improving the American criminal justice system, the Reform Alliance is led by names like Meek, Puma Basketball creative director Jay Z, and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

The black-based knit on the Clyde Court #Reform features a heather pattern and pink accents along with #Reform branding on the tongue and translucent outsole. The pair also features Smith’s memorable “We had to be seen because we could not be heard” quote from the 1968 Olympics.

Golden State’s DeMarcus Cousins debuted the pair on-court last night, and it’s also expected to be worn by Phoenix’s DeAndre Ayton.

The Clyde Court #Reform is available for preorder now from puma.com for $120 and will see a wider release on Friday, Feb. 1. 100 percent of proceeds from the sneakers will be donated to the Reform Alliance, and Puma has also pledged to donate $5,000 in the name of each NBA player who wears them.

Meek Mill will be wearing the shoe during his Saturday Night Live performance as well.
