Megan Thee Stallion’s fairytale relationship appears to have ended. Over the weekend, the Houston rapper aired out her ex-boyfriend Klay Thompson for several misdeeds during their relationship.
What Did Megan Thee Stallion Accuse Klay Thompson Of Doing?
On her Instagram story, Megan let Thompson know she wasn’t playing around.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got “cold feet.” Megan posted. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be “monogamous”???? b**** I need a REAL break after this one .. bye y’all”
Although she didn’t explicitly name Thompson, her mentioning basketball heavily indicated the post was directed at him.
After the post, the Hip Hop blog Complex reached out to her team and confirmed the split.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay (Thompson), the statement from Complex and TMZ read. “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
The couple had been together for over a year, making their relationship public last July when the all star guard accompanied Megan to her inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation benefit gala.

How Did Megan’s Breakup Affect Her Moulin Rouge Show?
Megan’s breakup with Thompson may have seeped into her current bid on Broadway. TikTok user Christian76Oh posted a video that’s allegedly from the night after her breakup where Megan gets emotional near the end of the show.
According to Complex, Megan did not take the stage for Saturday’s (April 26th) 2 p.m. matinee of Moulin Rouge. Patrick Clanton, a standby for the role of Zidler, performed in her place. Clanton is also expected to appear today in place of Megan.
She has not commented if her absence is due to the breakup.
A few weeks ago, Megan was in New York City to perform her role as Zidler in the Broadway play Moulin Rouge. She was then pulled off the stage mid-performance after falling ill. After getting back from the hospital she addressed her worried fans.
“Last night was a real wake-up call for me,” she posted to Instagram. “I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t. Hotties I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting y’all down. I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been. I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve. Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything.”
It’s unknown if Megan will finish out her stint as Zidler for Moulin Rouge.
