Megan Thee Stallion is clearing the air about those viral anime clips.
Footage circulating online that people claimed was a sneak peek of her upcoming “Hotties” anime isn’t from the show at all. The rapper jumped online to explain the clip actually comes from an unreleased music video for her song “Gift & A Curse.”
This is NOT a “sneak peek” or a “snippet” of my new anime “hotties” … this clip was from a music video to my song gift and a curse I never put out… everybody RELAX yall DO NOT know what my show looks like yet lol

I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A SNIPPET OF MY NEW ANIME🚨‼️ https://t.co/fYcKCDWJWm
“THIS is NOT a ‘sneak peek’ or a ‘snippet’ of my new anime,” she wrote. “Everybody relax… y’all do NOT know what my show looks like yet.”
Megan first announced the “Hotties” anime last year, revealing it’s in development for Amazon Prime Video with Carl Jones. She recently shared that she’s been in the studio recording voice work for her character.
No official release date for the anime has been announced yet.
