The hip-hop industry is still buzzing about Jay-Z’s three-night run at Yankee Stadium. Hov had a plethora of guests join him during the weekend celebration. But one person was missing who fans wanted to see — Foxy Brown.
Memphis Bleek Addresses Foxy Brown’s Concert Absence
During an appearance at Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Tuesday (July 14), former Roc-A-Fella artist Memphis Bleek said that he heard “through the grapevine” that Foxy was in the building during Friday’s show, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt. He also says that she didn’t hit the stage with Hov because she got “cold feet.”
Check out the clip below as caught by TheRocSupremacy on X.
Bleek said Foxy was invited & was in the building but he heard she got “cold feet”. Which is understandable because performing for a stadium in your 1st show back with a hearing struggle would be nerve wrecking for anybody. S/o Foxy! ❤️💎 pic.twitter.com/PcYz9t6mio

Of course, the clip went viral, which led to several reactions on social media/
“A woman has been performing for over 20 years, and now she has cold feet? Nobody is buying that bulls**t bleek just said,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“It’s alright, Foxy. I would’ve still lost it if she got on stage and waved at fans,” a second user chimed in.
“Understandable for real, to go out in front of that crowd and you suffering with a hearing problem is no joke,” a third user remarked.
However, Friday’s show wasn’t short of surprise guests. Beyonce was in attendance to sing Mary J. Blige’s verse on Can’t Knock The Hustle. Blue Ivy was on the piano as she and her dad collaborated to perform his hit record Feelin It. And he and Nas also hit the stage together for one of the most iconic moments in hip-hop history.
