Metro Boomin found himself at the center of controversy last summer. It was his mixtape We Don’t Trust You, that was the catalyst for Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 beef after Kendrick’s verse on “Like That” released.
Metro Booming Drops Feature List For Upcoming Album
But the famed producer seems ready to turn over a new leaf. In a recent social media post, Metro Boom released the list of features for his upcoming project, which is set to release this Friday, August 1. And the list of featured artists is loaded, to say the least.
- Roscoe Dash
- JMoney
- Quavo
- Young Dro
- Travis Porter
- 2 Chainz
- Lil Baby
- Future
- Rich Kidz
- Meany (of Shop Boyz)
- YK Niece
- Rocko
- Bunna B
- T.I.
- Waka Flocka Flame
There also appear to be six additional featured artists who have yet to be revealed.
“Feature list overly stacked and we’re not even done yet,” he added.

But even with the stacked list of features, fans were torn about how to feel about the artists on the upcoming album.
“I thought futuristic implied you were collabing with fresh, new & innovative artists. This looks more like a Retroistic Summer,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This just feels random as f**k, I can’t be the only one here that thinks this tape is a bit weird,” another user added.
“First hip hop album I’ve been excited for in a long time. Travis Porter? Shop Boyz? Bringing it BACK,” another person said.
Metro Boomin is not a rapper. But make no mistake, he is one of the more important people in the music industry today. He is the hitmaker responsible for several of the industry’s biggest hits, including Jumpman, Glock in My Lap, and Ric Flair Drip.
With him being one of the top producers in the rap game, his album is easily among the most anticipated of this year.
