Mike Epps’ new Netflix stand-up, Delusional, dropped on Tuesday (January 27). And it is as explosive as one might expect.
One of the topics that was addressed was the downfall of disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Mike Epps Mocks Diddy “Freak Offs” In New Netflix Special
To bring things up to speed, the Bad Boy Records founder was convicted of interstate prostitution in May 2025. Prosecutors revealed that much of the prostitution happened at Combs’ now-infamous celebrity parties, also known as “freak-offs.”
In the trailer of the upcoming stand-up, Epps shares his disappointment in the verdict, calling it “messed up” and admitts that he thought Diddy would beat the case.
“The man in jail for being a freak,” he says. “If they found out some of the s**t I did, I’d be in the electric chair right now.”
He also references the viral video of Combs assaulted his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel hallway. Pointing to that as the reason that Combs was convicted.
“They woulda let Diddy out early, but they had him on camera with that towel,” he joked.

Dave Chappelle References Diddy in New Standup
Epps is not the only comedian to address Diddy’s high-profile trial in the aftermath of the controversial verdict. Comedian Dave Chappelle also addressed the music mogul’s downfall in a new standup special, The Unstoppable, which also debuted on Netflix on December 19.
During the standup, Chappelle admitted to attending a Diddy party. But he clarified that he never saw any of the heinous acts Diddy was accused of. But he did recall a time when the Bad Boy Records founder asked what he was “into,” to which he jokingly responded, “books and video games.” He then said that he had no idea that was his “big chance to f**k Cassie,” Diddy’s ex-girlfriend.
This past October, Combs was sentenced to a 50-month prison term by Judge Arun Subramanian. He is serving out his sentence at Fort Dix FCI and is set to be released on June 4, 2028.
