With a professional record of 50 wins and no losses, Mayweather is widely-regarded as boxing’s GOAT. However, after the fight against Tyson was announced, some fans expressed concern about a potential first loss for Mayweather. And how it could affect his legacy.
Floyd guaranteed that no matter what happens in his fight with Tyson, his legacy will stay intact.
“I’ve been doing this for 30 years, and there hasn’t been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy,” Mayweather said in a release. “You already know that if I am going to do something, it’s going to be big and it’s going to be legendary. I’m the best in the business of boxing. This exhibition will give the fans what they want.”
