Songs like Juicy J’s Bandz a Make Her Dance, Drake’s No Lie, and Future’s Bugatti catapulted him to superstardom during the blog era.

Mike Will Made it Salutes Drake For ‘Always Showing Love’

During a recent appearance on Drink Champs, Mike Will Made It credited Drake for being a major part of his success. And saluted him for being someone who always “showed love” from the very start.

“I want to salute Drake for being somebody who always showed love from the beginning,” he said ( Via ZADCOZZY/X). “He was one of the first major artists to go on Twitter and just tweet like “Mike WiLL Made-It. Then he remixed s**t. He and Future had “For real” on my track, even with Pluto’s early days, going on the road with Drake. Drake always showed love.

Fans in the comments section of the social media post agreed with Mike Will Made It’s comments. And noted that Drake has also shown the same type of love to several other prominent artists.

“Every artist who works with him is super thankful, especially those he puts on. Always speaking wonders about working with bro,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Ppl want us to change history, or something like this guy hasn’t been on top and helping ppl elevate for 15 yrs,” another user added.

Others noted how many people are coming out to speak positively about Drake now. But they were nowhere to be found during his feud with Kendrick Lamar back in 2024.

Mike Will’s success in the Atlanta trap music scene led him to diversify his portfolio. He went on to produce tracks like Kendrick Lamar’s Humble and DNA, Rae Sremmurd’s Black Beatles, Beyoncé’s Formation, and Rihanna’s Pour It Up. One of the deepest catalogs in the game.
