Multiple of Drake’s October’s Very Own (OVO) affiliates are not moved by the comments made by rap star, Rick Ross.
Drake Affiliates Clown Rick Ross After Making Peace Offering
To bring things up to speed, Ross recently appeared on Apple Music’s Rap Life Review. And one of the topics that came up was his relationship with Drake. And surprisingly, Ross extended an olive branch to the Grammy winner.
“Drake, if you listening to this homie, listen to me, my n***a.. shine I don’t wanna see you lose, nobody wanna see you lose. That ain’t what this Rap s**t is about, this culture this game that ain’t what it’s about,” the rap star said in a clip caught by Big_Business on X.
However, once the clip began to go viral on social media, several of Drake’s affiliates were not moved by the comments.
OVO Mark and OVO Noel flooded the comments section with crying laughing emojis. And OVO Roxx pleaded with Ross to “shaaaaaddddup.”
Even reggae artist Popcaan chimed in on Ross’s comments. When he stated, “Chilly ice pack for your left eye.”

French Montana was the driving force behind Ross’s issues with Drake back in 2024. The Maybach Music Group boss claimed that Drake refused to clear his verse on French Montana’s track Splash Brothers. He addressed Drake on his 2024 track Champagne Moments, and Drizzy fired back on his track, Push Ups.
But Ross says now that French has moved past his previous issues with Drake, he is ready to move on as well.
“I don’t wanna see you lose real n****s just wanna shine together, wherever you at homie French Montana still f**s with you ain’t no funny s**t,” Ross continued. “We had the biggest n***as in the game on speed dial just on some one thousand s**t … Shoutout to the homie French Montana riding for you.”
