JAY-Z has turned heads this summer with his Yankee stadium shows and extended tour. A few scathing live freestyles also revved up the speculation train about a possible new album from the legend.
Rick Ross has claimed a new JAY album exists, but now another person is saying the same. Music executive Ray Daniels is stamping that JAY’s album isn’t just on the way, it’s already done.
Daniels, known for working with Epic Records, LA Reid, and signing NLE Choppa, claims on his podcast he’s heard JAY-Z is sitting on gold.
“His album is done. It’s completely done. It’s just, we might get it if somebody partners with him,” Daniels said. “If nobody partners with him, it’s not coming.”
Daniels is a player in the business, but it’s unknown how his track record is for breaking stories. From past interviews though, he loves to talk.
If the album comes, it’ll be JAY’s first solo record since 2017’s 4:44, which sparked a desire for “grown up raps” from aging superstars.

What Else Is Going On With JAY-Z
Beyoncé has officially released a remix of “Morning Dew (Donk),” featuring a guest verse from Jay-Z.
The remix blends multiple recognizable sounds, including samples from Sheck Wes’ breakout hit “Mo Bamba” and The Isley Brothers’ classic “Between the Sheets.”
Jay-Z brings an aggressive tone to the track, addressing online critics and questioning the loyalty of people who speak negatively about his circle.
“You ain’t riding for the gang, shut the f*** up,” Jay-Z raps before adding, “They only haters on the net. You n****s tweet a lot.”
The collaboration marks another musical linkup between Beyoncé and Jay-Z, with the couple combining high-energy production, classic samples and confident lyrics.
