Former YBN members Nahmir and Almighty Jay are officially engaged in a war of words. And it all has to do with a difference in opinion about how the group got split up.

During a recent stream, Almighty Jay alleged that it was YBN Nahmir’s involvement in gang-related activity that was ultimately the demise of the group.
“Nahmir joined a gang. Nahmir moved to LA and joined a gang. And it went from being a business to a f*****g gang banging fest. And I didn’t want to be around that shit,” Jay said. “I wasn’t scared; I just didn’t want to be around gang members. I liked h**s and money”
However, Nahmir has not entered the chat. And he is calling cap on Almighty Jay’s claims. Nahmir cited that Jay did something “foul” that almost led to his mother being murdered. And that is what ultimately led to their fallout.
“‘YBN broke up because Nahmir was hanging around gang bangers.’ No, YBN broke up because you did some foul-a** sh*t that almost got my mom killed,” Nahmir said in a video posted to social media. “And I ain’t say nothing about it on the internet until now.”

While Nahmir doesn’t go into detail about the “foul” thing that Jay did, it was enough to warrant a response from the former YBN member. And in Jay’s response, he calls out Nahmir for recently getting robbed.
“What happened in the studio like four months ago when you were in DC?” he asks in the video (Via Akademiks). “You forgot what happened in the studio when you were in DC? Didn’t you get pistol-whipped and stripped in the studio for all your chains? That’s why you got no chains? I’m tweaking? If I’m lying, I’m flying, I put this on my mama life. […] Do I need to go live with the n****s that pistol-whipped you and stripped you for all your jewelry in the studio in DC like four months ago?”
