Tonight, the biggest names in sports will get their flowers at the annual Espys. However, some legends in music will also get recognition, as Mass Appeal has a crazy lineup planned for performances.
Who Is Performing At The Espys?
According to a press release from Mass Appeal, their Legend Has It showcase will includes performances by DJ Premier, Slick Rick, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah, and more.
The Espys has a history of honoring Hip Hop. Last year, the performers included Busta Rhymes, Clipse, Tobe Nwigwe, and others.
The show, which is hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Marcello Hernandez, begins at 8pm EST on ABC.
The Savannah Bananas are also expected to perform.
The show will also stream on the ESPN app, and can be watched the next day on Hulu, ESPN, and Disney Plus.
How Did People React To The Lineup?
Hip Hop fans rejoiced at Nas paying homage to the legends of Hip Hop.
“Wow that’s dope. Nas really did the lords work last year,” one user posted.

Outside of this, Nas is working with Eli Roth on a new horror film Ice Cream Man. The Eli Roth-directed slasher will release on August 7th, 2026. The film follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids tasty treats with horrifying results. Ari Millen (Orphan Black), Benjamin Byron Davis (Red Dead Redemption) and Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving) will have supporting roles.
